Puzzling Adventures are a cross between a scavenger hunt, an adventure race, and an informative self-guided walking tour. Each adventure consists of a series of locations that you are guided to where you are required to answer a question or solve a puzzle to receive your next instruction. Compete as a group, individually or create multiple teams and race each other. Almost all of our adventures are designed to be wheelchair and stroller friendly and all are carefully crafted to be entertaining and informative with something to appeal to all ages. Complete the adventure as quickly as possible to win first place or take your time and enjoy the journey. Price is per team, not per person. Groups can be any size, but small groups are recommended for the best experience.

Local transgender artist Jacob Clayton's black and white photo series Paradise City POV focuses on the intangible imprint that the glaring public display of acceptance in Northampton, Massachusetts, will have on those navigating a difficult path in life.

Debuting during Arts Night Out in the Emerging Artist Showcase from August 2 through August 29, 2025, at the Barn Door Gallery – 33 Hawley Street, Northampton. The opening reception is Friday, August 8 from 5 to 8 PM. Artist talk at 7PM. Admission is free.

Description/info:
In two series of oil paintings on wood panels, Evelyn Pye explores human dimensions of time, space, and scale through a profusion of indoor plant life infused with domestic detail. Small-scale works, from 2013, depict plants that belonged to the artist’s mother. Now, in 2025, Pye tends the plants herself and revisits the paintings with new, scaled-up versions of the originals, approximately doubling the size, plus painting the plants anew at larger scale. In-person Art Forum on July 17.

In 2025, CitySpace is hosting a series of mini Pop-Up Markets on the first Saturday of the month from 4-7PM during CitySpace Bluegrass and Art Walk Easthampton.

Calling all bluegrass lovers! Come on down to Easthampton Old Town Hall for an open bluegrass jam! Dust off your favorite Bill Monroe, Stanley Brothers and beyond songs, and scratch the itch to pick at the launch of a monthly jam! Bluegrass musician David Clark Carroll and CitySpace presents CitySpace Bluegrass, a new monthly bluegrass jam designed to bring the community together in the spirit of music, joy, and good old-fashioned fun.

CitySpace Bluegrass will light up the first Saturday of every month from 4–7 PM in the heart of downtown Easthampton during Art Walk.

Join singer-songwriter Jess Martin and poet-naturalist Kim Hoff for an evening of music, poetry, and connection with the wild beauty of our local landscape. Original songs and poems inspired by Hampshire County’s forests, waters, and trails. Come celebrate the magic of our home ecosystems and the stories they tell through art. This one’s for nature lovers, creative spirits, curious kids, and anyone craving a little inspiration.

On Saturday, August 2 at 7:00 pm at the First Church in Jaffrey, Electric Earth Concerts will present “Ladies on the Move!” Our 2020 celebration of the vote for women fell victim to the pandemic, so for the 105th anniversary we offer music by New Hampshire’s own Amy Beach, Katie Semro, Elise Grant, and celebrated Chinese American Chen Yi.

Featuring David McCarroll and Shanshan Yao,violin; Angela Park, cello; Emely Phelps, piano; Laura Gilbert, flute; and Jonathan Bagg, viola.

The Norman Rockwell Museum is honored to present a rare series of early twentieth century lighting advertisements by Norman Rockwell and fellow Golden Age illustrators Maxfield Parrish, N.C. Wyeth, Dean Cornwell, Stanley Arthurs, Worth Brehm, and Charles Chambers created for Edison Mazda Lamps, a division of the General Electric Company. These luminous, richly painted works were widely circulated in published advertisements through the 1920s and are on loan to the Museum for the first time through the generosity of GE Aerospace.
